Happy Summer

Hello to all of our visitors.

I hope you memorial day weekend was a spectacular one.  I wanted to officially welcome you to our new blog and let you know how we intend to use this part of our site to help educate and inform our users.

Blogs are a terrific way to get news to our users immediately.  We will post alerts to any scam attempts we have been notified about, including attempts on other sites.  So, if you receive a suspicious email from a potential employer or nanny, please forward it to our attention at webmaster@nannyclassifieds.com.

This blog will also be a way for us to share news about what is going on in the Nanny industry.  We will also post our monthly newsletter, Nanny Net News, as well as any questions and answers we receive through the site that may be of interest to the general visitors.

So, I hope you will check in often to see what is new on the blog.  We do not allow posts from our readers because spammers are notorious for targeting blogs and creating huge headaches for the administrator.  If you would like to ask a question or make a comment about something you read here, please feel free to email us at blog@nannyclassifieds.com.

Oh, and while I’m at it, here is some industry news to get things rolling.

I recently returned from the International Nanny Association’s conference in New Orleans where I was sworn in as a new board member of INA and will be helping in membership recruitment and public relations.  Becky Kavanagh was awarded the Nanny of the Year award. Congratulations Becky!!  We will be posting a press release about Becky later this week.

We are also running a sweepstakes on our sister site, 4EverythingNanny.com. Stop by to enter to win a $50 gift certificate to DragonTailBaby.com.

Thanks for stopping by.
